In 2024, PRA Energy Solution was awarded the contract to install 78 units of Universal Power Flow Controllers (UPFC) across three primary pumping hubs: Parol, Maswan, and Dhuktan.

Through automated voltage, impedance, and phase angle regulation, the system achieved a combined saving of 1,10,616 units (KVAH) per month and curtailed 109 MD, generating an astonishing 10–11 month return on investment (ROI).
